Legacy of the Founder
MirGroup traces its origins to Kabul in the 1960s, when its founder, Mir Abdul Rahman, established the business as a trading company focused on regional commerce. Over the decades, the group evolved through generational leadership, with his three sons expanding operations and introducing new business lines across multiple sectors.
Today, the group continues under the active involvement of the third generation, with the founder’s grandchildren contributing to its ongoing development and diversification. Notably, Sayed Petroleum was established by a grandson of the founder, reflecting the group’s continued commitment to growth, entrepreneurship, and generational continuity.
